Muscat is a very timid dog with beautiful soulful eyes. He appears to need a few minutes to warm up to a human, but when he does, he follows that human around.

Muscat has the cutest head tilt when he is spoken to or when he hears a sound the doesn't seem to recognize. He would probably do best with adopters who are willing to be patient with him, take things slow, and allow him time to process what it's like to live in a human world. One example of Muscat needing time to adjust is his reaction to toys when they were offered to him. At first he didn't know what to do and didn't seem to be interested in them. However after a few minutes, he was offered a squeaky ball. He began to chase after it kind of cautiously then started to pick it up with his mouth, walking with the ball in his mouth and placing it on a blanket next to him.

Due to his fear, it would probably be best that Muscat goes home with older children (teenagers). He coexisted with other dogs in the play yard during play group, and didn't s how much of a reaction to cats.
