Buddy

Age: 2-3 Years Old
Sex: Male
Size: Large

Leadership Experience: Moderate experience
Good With Dogs: No
Good With Cats: No

Good With Children: Yes, 10 and Up
Buddy is currently in a  foster home for heart worm treatment and will be ready for adoption in the new year. He is a 3 year old German Shepherd, not yet neutered, and is very friendly. We are looking for a foster with no other animals, no young children and a household that is relatively calm. Basically he needs a Netflix and chill lifestyle while on heart worm treatment. The rescue pays for all expenses! We just need someone to keep him calm and take care of him during recovery. Fosters always get first right of refusal if you fall in love with your foster and decide to adopt.

Buddy took a little while to warm up to our testers but started giving hugs and kisses and looking for belly rubs. He was very calm but also might not have been feeling his best so with treatment, that might change. He is also missing an upper canine and has a blue tongue! He warms up to people fairly quickly, likes giving hugs and kisses, and loves belly rubs.

If you're interested in adopting Buddy once he's medically cleared, please consider filling out an application today!
