4-year white shepherd, spayed female, being treated for heartworm.
Luna can be a little reserved initially and can come across a bit aloof. Just is just a little shy and timid with new people and new situations. Once she gains some confidence and becomes comfortable in her surroundings and with new people, Luna is very affiliative. She is generally a "lower key" dog who may prefer calmer situations and lower-activity home in general.
With regards to her dog preferences, Luna doesn't appear to enjoy the company of dogs who are very rambunctious and who get in her face. In fact, in one of the play groups, she appropriately corrected a dog who wanted to be too friendly with her too quickly. She certainly can successfully cohabitate with other dogs. She was co-housed at St. Hubert's until very recently when her kennelmate was adopted out.
