Hi there! I’m new here. I'm a good boy named Max and I just love belly rubs and playing with my ball!

I'm 4 years old and a long haired black and red German Shepherd. I love water,  swimming, digging in the sand at the beach or in the yard in the snow, and could play ball for hours! I get so excited when I meet new people so sometimes it takes me a few minutes of sniffing before I can sit down and let them pet me. But once I'm ready to have you pet me, I'll lean on you and then roll over so you can give me the best belly rubs. 

I can live with a female dog, but these nice folks at GSRNJ say I should be the only male because I'm a big and strong 105 lbs. and want to dominate all the other boys. They'll want to do meet and greets with other dogs, and they say no cats. As for kids, they said I can live with older kids, about 10 and up. I travel well in the car and would love to go on adventures with you. Can we stop at a park or the beach so I can run?? 

The GSRNJ people say that because I'm so big and strong, my new family needs to have Shepherd experience. I might need a refresher on my training and it would be great if there was a yard for me to play in! 

Fun fact: I'm bilingual and understand commands in English as well as Polish.
