✨Some dogs walk into your life loud and goofy... and some quietly wait for the right person to understand them. Nova is one of those dogs. This beautiful 2½-year-old German Shepherd mix weighs about 85 pounds and is looking for a very special home with someone experienced, patient, and willing to give her the time she needs to truly shine.

Nova came to us after her family could no longer care for her, and while the shelter has been a big adjustment, we know there is an amazing dog underneath her nervousness just waiting to feel safe again.

She is approved for adopters with German Shepherd experience and will need multiple meet-and-greets so she can build trust slowly and comfortably. Nova can be unsure with new people and is very strong on leash, so she's looking for a confident handler who understands the breed and is committed to continuing her training, socialization, and leash work.
