Size: Large
Leadership Experience: Strong
Good With Dogs: No
Good With Cats: No
Good With Children: No
Remember Rex from a few months ago? He’s back with us and looking for the right home.

Rex was adopted, but shortly after, his new family discovered he was reactive at the front door. They worked with a trainer and made some progress, but he continued to struggle with one family member, so they made the difficult decision to return him.
Rex is now looking for a calm, experienced home—ideally with someone familiar with German Shepherds or dogs who need a little extra support. He’ll need to be the only pet in the home (no cats, please!), and he’d do best in a quiet environment without children and with limited visitors. Meeting new people should happen outside the home and on Rex’s terms, as he needs time and space to feel comfortable.
He’s a beautiful, traditional-colored GSD who bonds closely with his person. Rex walks nicely on a leash, loves his toys, and is up to date on vaccines and neutered. With the right person—someone patient and willing to continue working with a trainer—Rex has the potential to truly thrive.

If you think you could be the one for him, we’d love to hear from you.
