Schwarz (which is German for "black") is an 8-year-old solid black male German Shepherd. He grew up with a 9-year old black & tan female Shepherd, Teufel. Unfortunately, their owner passed away and they were surrender by a family member to a shelter. The family was only able to supply limited information, but we've found that both German Shepherds are very friendly,  great with people, and both do well around other dogs. Teufel was recently adopted and Schwarz is still looking for his new home.

Schwarz is an active dog with a lot of energy. He loves to go for walks and he'd be a great buddy to join you on hikes as he walks great on a leash. He'll need to be an only pet -- while he grew up with another dog, he's recently been dominating other dogs and acting quite rough with them. No cats, either!
