Look at how handsome and happy Thor is! Sadly, there was a time when he was sick, neglected and abused. Thankfully, Thor was saved by a good samaritan when she adopted him from a seller on Craigslist. At roughly 8 months old, Thor was emaciated, riddled with worms and was clearly abused. His angel worked on rehabbing Thor, giving him the love and care that he desperately needed to get him to where he is today.
Thor has had very limited interactions with other dogs. He can become reactive when he sees another one approach. He seems to do better with larger breed dogs than small dogs. Due to his reactiveness, we do recommend a home with no dogs so that he may be properly socialized. Thor has had limited exposure to the two cats that he currently lives with. The current owner will be working with him to get a better understanding of his ability to live with cats. Thor is housebroken and can be crated for up to 8 hours with no issues. He also loves fetch and is very food motivated. So continuing with his training will be easy.
Its also possible that Thor may have had some training with scent work. So he would be a match for any canine units or handlers. Overall, Thor is a nice young dog that needs an experienced handler that is willing to work with him. He had a rough tumble early on in life, but we are determined to help him onto his next path and forever home.
Thor is neutered and is up-to-date on his vaccines and is part of our Owner Referral Program.
