Introducing Bear, a magnificent 1 1/2-year-old long-haired German Shepherd in search of his perfect home. Bear's journey hasn't been easy, as he was rescued from a cruelty situation along with 7 other dogs. After finding a loving family, he flourished, blossoming into a well-rounded companion. However, the challenges stemming from his unsocialized past proved overwhelming, particularly with certain men, including his previous owner. In the best interest of Bear's happiness, a new home is now being sought.

Bear is a bright, playful, and delightfully goofy boy. He gets along famously with dogs of all sizes and would thrive in the company of an outgoing and social canine companion. He's mastered the art of housebreaking and crate training. One thing's for sure – Bear is head over paws in love with playing ball. Soccer, tennis, you name it – he's always up for some spirited fun. While he prefers a kitty-free environment, Bear would feel most at ease in a home with older children, aged 16 and over.

When he's not chasing balls, Bear enjoys nothing more than snuggling up with his family, nestled beneath the covers and enjoying a good book... being read to him, of course! *Bear does require a patient and experienced owner.
